Here you go – more evidence that the Rusty Satellite Show is the most interesting podcast in the ‘Ville. Delene Taylor tells me she’s not that interesting, it’s just that she’s always around people that are. Taylor keeps a frantic schedule, often with more than one event per day, focused on promoting some of the city’s great organizations and initiatives.

Gwendolyn Brashear and Heather Moses

To help others keep up, Taylor (she’s marketing director at the CPA firm DMLO) started a blog that highlights the events she attends. Among her big projects is serving on the board of Canopy, the statewide organization encouraging businesses to be better citizens. And she’s joined with me to help organize the Breakfast of Champions. But that’s just a fraction of what we talked about.

Delene was also willing to be the first to try a new Rusty Satellite Show feature – our news quiz. Listen in as I pose 11 questions about what’s going on in the ‘Ville to see how she does, and what her big prize is. And if you’d like to take the Rusty News Quiz on a future show, just let me know.

Speaking of doing good, the work that USA Cares does in this community and throughout the nation for veterans is remarkable. Gwendolyn Brashear and Heather Moses dropped in to the ReMax Properties East studio to talk about an upcoming FREE breakfast taking place March 18 at the Galt House. The Rise Up and Shine event will feature Heather French Henry and other impressive speakers.

Did you know the average rent in Louisville is up to $960? That’s according to the Kentucky Rent Report, which disclosed that rent prices rose another 3 percent in the last year. Why not take that rent money and invest in a new home — it’s easier than you think. Call me, Rick Redding, at 502-439-6391 and let me help you get there.

Thanks to the Eye Care Institute and Heuser Health for all they do and for making the show a reality.
