Foam Gnome Success with Matthew Gilles; Mo McKnight Howe Knows Airbnb


Join me in Portland as I sit down with Matthew Gilles, known for the Foam Gnomes that adorn his building and trucks that promote Louisville Spray Foam Insulation. But the Central City native has a colorful history that includes a stint as a scuba instructor. In addition to his history as a local contractor, Gilles has become an investor in Portland properties, and is optimistic about the area’s future.

You remember Mo McKnight Howe from her appearance here as the owner of Revelry Gallery in NuLu. I checked in with her to talk about the successful Airbnb enterprise she and her husband operate down the street from Revelry. We talk about NuLu’s growth and the effect of all those new hotel rooms opening in 2018.
